Welcome to Jewish Memphis!
"Graceland, Beale Street, the Peabody Ducks, the Mighty Mississippi"
These and many more landmarks create a warm image of Memphis. However, few people realize the long and rich history of the Jewish community in this city. Memphis truly offers tremendous and diverse opportunities in educational, cultural, and social activities while also extending the warm Southern hospitality for which we are famous.
The Jewish communal agencies serve every age and need in state of the art facilities with highly professional staff. In this thriving community, Memphis Jewish Federation is the umbrella uniting every aspect of Jewish Memphis (8,000 to 10,000 strong) and touching the heart of every Jewish Home. We are a guide to almost everything Jewish in Shelby County as a first gesture of friendship, a helping hand, and a hearty greeting of Shalom!
