Mission to Cuba

From October 27-30, 2011, more than 20 members of the Memphis Jewish Community visited the Communist island nation of Cuba. This humanitarian mission was co-chaired by Joanna and Josh Lipman and Mary and Corey Trotz. The trip was organized by Memphis Jewish Federation and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.

The kosher food pantry of Memphis is officially open. Please support this community wide effort to provide food for those in need. Food donations can be made at the synagogues, schools, or at the MJCC or if you would like to send a monetary donation, please make the check out to Memphis Jewish Federation but be sure to put "KFPM" in the memo line.
